Product Overview
SeaGuardian® BIO Rust-Stop is a biodegradable, long-life corrosion protectant designed for offshore structures, steel piping, caissons, and equipment exposed to marine environments. Based on crosslinked seaweed-derived film-formers, hydrophobic natural lipids, and stabilised emulsions, the product provides up to 12–18 months of rust prevention without reliance on synthetic oils or harmful additives. The formulation cures into a semi-dry, translucent coating that is ocean-safe and resistant to salt spray, humidity, and microbial attack.

Recommended Use & Application

Apply as-is or dilute up to 10% with water for thinner coat

Methods: Spray, brush, or wipe-on (2 thin coats recommended)

Touch dry in 30–60 minutes; full cure in 12–24 hours

Reapply every 9–18 months depending on conditions

Can be removed with warm water or alkaline degreasers if needed
