DecomClear® VAPOUR Safe is a low-foam, steam-compatible vapor suppression agent formulated to encapsulate and displace hydrocarbon vapours (C5–C12+) in refinery tanks and piping. It is designed for use at 2–5% dilution with steam or condensate to achieve rapid LEL knockdown without disrupting refinery wastewater treatment processes. The formula contains no QACs (quaternary ammonium compounds), no NPEs (nonylphenol ethoxylates), and no persistent emulsifiers.

Recommended Dilution and Use

Typical Dilution: 2–5% in steam or water

Application Methods:
- Steam injection or fogging: 0.2–0.5 L/m³ of vapor space (as diluted solution)
- Manual tank wall spray: 0.2–0.5 L/m² (as diluted solution)
- Tank flooding: 10–15% of free tank volume (diluted)
