DecomClear® PYROPHORIC
Is a high-performance alkaline chelating solution designed to safely and effectively remove pyrophoric iron sulfide and associated deposits from process systems.
Product Overview
DecomClear® PYROPHORIC is a high-performance alkaline chelating solution designed to safely and effectively remove pyrophoric iron sulfide and associated deposits from process systems. It combines strong sequestrants, dispersants, surfactants, and glycol ethers to achieve rapid and thorough decontamination without generating hazardous gases or residues. The formulation is non-oxidizing (no heat generated) and compatible with most industrial metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and titanium.
Key Features
✔ Non-oxidizing – avoids exothermic or hazardous reactions with pyrophoric material
✔ Alkaline pH – prevents hydrogen sulfide generation
✔ Chelation of Fe²⁺/Fe³⁺, Ba²⁺, Pb²⁺, and Ra²⁺
✔ Surfactant-enhanced wetting and penetration
✔ Biodegradable and low toxicity components
✔ Suitable for refinery, gas, and petrochemical decontamination operations
