SeaGuardian® Inert Foam is a biodegradable nitrogen foam for inerting and oxygen displacement of all areas where hot cutting may occur or where the removal of hazardous gases and vapours is required. In particular, cutting into any areas that may have potential for ignition are especially targeted. Even limiting corrosion by displacement of oxygen. Combined with the SeaGuardian BIOFOAM PIGS you can keep the areas inert long term.
SeaGuardian® Inert Foam is a high-expansion, biodegradable nitrogen-expanded foam concentrate formulated with seaweed-derived polymers and soapwort extract. Designed for marine-safe discharge, the formulation generates large volumes of stable foam with extended half-life in platform piping systems, pipelines and caissons

Application Instructions

Use concentrate directly with a foam generation system.

Inject nitrogen gas at 3–6 bar using high-shear or aspirating foam nozzle.

Foam fills target pipelines or caissons; allow to dwell for required inerting period.

Follow up with rinse water or compressed air evacuation.
Environmental & Safety Information
This formulation uses only biodegradable, food-grade, and marine-safe ingredients. Soapwort extract is included as a natural foamer at low concentrations to support foam integrity without ecological disruption. Product meets OECD 301 biodegradability standards.
