DecomClear® SLUDGE SOLV WC is a newly developed solvent formulation crafted to excel in dissolving and preventing the formation of solid hydrocarbon residues, particularly adept at clearing heavy hydrocarbon tank sludges. This product features a sophisticated blend of high-tech ingredient molecules that are compatible with operations where water is used as the cutter stock. By breaking down the surface tension of tightly bonded long-chain molecules such as asphaltenes, it facilitates a much greater dispersion of these substances in either closed loop tank circulation with water or water cannon / jetting type operations compared to just cutter.
This innovative solvent is ideally designed for use across a broad spectrum of hydrocarbon processing equipment, including heat exchangers, vacuum tower bottoms, coker fractionator bottoms, and oil storage tanks. Its precise chemical composition is engineered to ensure seamless compatibility with ongoing refinery operations without adverse effects to wastewater treatment facilities.

This solvent is typically blended with water as the cutter stock in concentrations ranging from 2% to 5%, depending on the specific requirements of the application and the amount of deposition. For targeted cleaning tasks such as pre-treatment of heat exchangers or cleaning of intricate components like pump casings, DecomClear® SLUDGE SOLV WC can be applied in its concentrated form. Vapour Application
